NEW DELHI: Myntra, an online fashion and lifestyle store owned by Flipkart, has hired 5,000 employees across its supply chain and customer care departments as it kicks off the 12th edition of its ‘End of Reason Sale’ from June 19 to June 22. This will be the first time some of Myntra’s employees will work from home during a sale.“There are many firsts to this sale – one being that most of it is being run virtually and secondly, we hired the additional workforce a week in advance instead of a day prior to the sale like in pre-Covid years,” Amar Nagaram, CEO of Myntra, told ET.Even as many migrant workers left the cities as the lockdown started, the company retained its fleet staff by providing them with necessities, he said. Another difference this time will be “recharge leave” – two days off for all employees after wrapping up the sale.Another difference this time will be “recharge leave” – two days off for all after wrapping up the sale
